Lizzie Jacobs is a Peabody, duPont, and Emmy Award-winning writer, editor, and producer.
At StoryCorps, she had a hand in shaping nearly every aspect of its editorial output: as founding producer for StoryCorps Animated Shorts; as editor of its NY Times Bestselling books with The Penguin Press; and as producer of radio broadcasts on NPR’s Morning Edition.
These days, Jacobs is an independent artist and storyteller working across media. She’s the producer of the arts podcast Make/Time, the Newark Stories series at WBGO, and she recently directed and produced the Webby-nominated short documentary “We’ll Still Be Here,” with POV on Snapchat. She holds a BA from Williams College and an MFA from the New School. Her best works, Ruby and Henry, are still in progress.
